Wazrą translates to "Spring" in Proto-Germanic, and this book marks the first instalment of a planned series of four, each spotlighting North European seasonal holidays.

The initial section of the book offers an overview of diverse spring customs across Northern Europe, delving into their characteristics, nature, and highlighting the common threads woven through these various traditions.

In this second edition, the book has been expanded by approximately 80 pages compared to the first. These additions include:

- A foreword by the internationally respected healer, teacher, and practitioner of Swedish folk magic, Johannes B. Gårdbäck.

- A new chapter titled “The Spring Months”, in which the author explores the seasonal essence behind the North and West Germanic spring month names, from ancient times through to the 19th century C.E.

- The chapter “The Cuckoo in Folk Belief”, an investigation into the liminal role of the cuckoo across Eurasia, with particular focus on the Germanic context and the significance of this brood-parasitic, divinatory, and migratory bird within folklore and superstition.

In the last part of the book, the author offers his own Þursian perspectives on the spring customs, discussing how to make these traditions relevant for contemporary Þursian practitioners. Additionally, there is a description provided on how to conduct a vernal bonfire ritual from these antinomian perspectives.
